The longest part of a story is probably when you are two-thirds of the way in.
- The first third is – yay I’ve just begun a new story. Let this new saga begin š I’m bursting with energy.
- The middle third is – this is such a chore. I’ve already done so much already and I’m not even halfway done. Maybe it’s because I’m not feeling it. Maybe it’s not a good enough story. But I’ve already put too much effort into it, I’m not going to abandoned it now.
- The last third – OMG I’m almost finished. I’ve accomplished so much! Once I’ve finished this draft I know I can edit it better. Let the editing begin!
