I’m writing a new story. Vomited about 8,000 words so far. It feels very good 🙂 At the moment it’s something along the lines of a sci-fi dystopian new adult story about a young woman who is suffering the consequences of being product of a terrorist plot. I’m at the seventh chapter now 🙂

Second draft of The Cadetship done
It’s taken me a while to go through The Cadetship and edit this 200 page book 🙂 But after today’s last thirty pages (I had a day off from work) I finally finished my second draft. I added about 5,000 words all up and when I go over it, I think that this one is going to turn out to be a gem 🙂
My new YA sci-fi book
I’m writing a new story and you know what? God damn I got a good feeling about this one. I’ve already written 20,000 words in two weeks and I think I have a ton more to go. The story focuses on a teen call Ilona and her life on the run from her father in a sci-fi centered universe. It involves alien planets, military environments, the dastardly lives of smugglers, the struggles of family identity and the unbridled desire to be free above all else.
All my new stories from 2016
Once you go sci-fi you can’t go back.
It appears that in the last year I have been working on nothing but sci-fi story ideas. Being inspired by The Force Awakens has really left a deep impression on me. I’ve got a fourth story being mulled out atm 🙂 I’m writing down my thoughts on it as I type.
I’ve written and edited twice over a draft of one YA Sci-fi, I’m almost finished writing another and I’ve got two other stories in their beginning stages 🙂 But I think it is going to be quite a while before they see the light of day 😦
